MOVEMENT FOR A NATIONAL CAUSE presented its new campaign “DO IT NOW!” in hotel “Marinela”
For the third year in a row, the National Cause Movement will encourage young people to become parents without delay. Apart from an information campaign about the risks of late pregnancy, the movement will also emphasize the interaction between business and young Bulgarians in Bulgaria and around the world. The focus will also be emigration – one of the main problems of the demographic crisis.
“DO IT NOW!” started on March 19, 2019, in the crowded hall “EFE” of Hotel Marinela, where the new public council was presented, including patriotic and successful Bulgarians with different professions and careers. They will also be the driving force behind the NGO and will encourage young people to become parents. Milen Vrabevski, Radoslav Yankov, Vlado Nikolov, Kaloyan Georgiev, Dimitar Tsotsorkov, Dimo Spasov, Penko Penkov, Ivan Hristov and Andrey Arnaudov will work for the cause.
“I am extremely grateful to the members of the Public Council, who accepted the invitation to work together for this and to have Bulgarians in our lands in 100 years. These people are not just business people, they are like-minded people, people with experience and vision, people with ideas, and most importantly – people who act. I would also like to express my gratitude to all those popular people in our country who support our campaign. I am sure that we will all prove that Bulgarians can become an incredible force when they act together. Shortly, several more like-minded people will join the Public Council,” said Andrey Arnaudov, chairman of the DNA, in front of those present in the EFE hall of the Marinela Hotel.
The initiative envisages a series of lectures and events in the country to raise awareness among young people about the risks and problems of postponing the decision to have children. The first lecture will be in April in Varna.
“It is good that the individual efforts of each of us regarding the future of Bulgaria and the topic of demographic collapse, to find a crossroads through the activities of DNA. The problem is already really affecting the whole business and development of the country. It is time to start acting on a larger scale and, above all, together, “said members of the Public Council of DNA.
The “Do it now” campaign is open to all families who conceived their children from March to December 2019, sharing on www.napravigo.bg a photo with the pregnancy test and their emotional history. The final event, the third national baptism, will take place in October 2020, as the campaign’s regulation aims to stimulate the creation of new life, not just to register it as before.
This year, for the first time, all couples who signed up for the campaign will have the opportunity to receive the most important things needed to raise their child in the first 12 months: clothes, diapers, food and cosmetics. In January 2020, 20 families will be selected by lottery before a notary, who will receive their “Baby DNA Package”, each worth BGN 5,000.
