The Emirate of Kuwait celebrates its national holiday at the Marinela Hotel

The traditional reception for the 58th anniversary of independent Kuwait brought together more than 500 representatives of diplomatic and business circles, artists and cultural figures, scientists, journalists, and friends in the Sofia Hall of the Marinela Hotel.
His Excellency Dr. Yakub Youssef al-Atiiki welcomed the guests. The celebration began with the anthems of both countries as a sign of friendship and cooperation.
A film was shown on large video walls showing the prosperity of this small country, but one of the world’s leading in terms of living standards. Specially prepared typical Kuwaiti cuisine and authentic music, part of the ancient and modern art of the Kuwaiti people, contributed to the beautiful atmosphere of the reception.
