Rotary International celebrates its 114th anniversary at the Marinela Hotel

Rotary clubs in Sofia celebrated their birthday and, at the same time, analyzed the sustainable projects they are working on. The Rotary Club was born in 1905 and from four friends, today more than 1,200,000 members worldwide. A small but significant percentage works HERE in Bulgaria.
Boyana Bankova – President of the Rotary Club – Sofia Triaditsa greeted the guests with the words, “We should be proud of the choice we have made to be an active part of the Rotary community and thus bring happiness to the people around us!
The evening passed to the sounds of piano and violin of two talented young ladies from the Association for Support of Children – Valeria Stoyanova and Diana Chausheva.
“It’s a changing world, and we must be ready to change with him. The history of Rotary will have to be rewritten over and over again.
