This document is a privacy notice according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It has been prepared by CITY HOTEL MANAGEMENT EAD – Hotel Marinela Sofia (hereinafter referred to as the “Hotel Keeper”). Below you will find information:

• about the controller in charge of processing of personal data;
• about the categories personal data being processed;
• about the conditions under which personal data are being processed;
• about the purposes and legal grounds for processing;
• about the periods of storage and the data security measures being applied;
• about the employees’ rights according to GDPR,
• and in what cases and under what procedure we share your data with third parties.

In order to ensure the security of our guests and employees as well as to protect our property we carry out video surveillance on the territory of the Hotel whereupon the following categories of personal data are collected: video image, behavior data. The basis for the processing of personal data is Hotel Keeper’s legitimate interest in protecting its employees and property. Video recordings shall be kept for a period of one month unless otherwise required by the law. In order to avoid any loss, abuse or unauthorized access we apply all reasonable measures and means of protection, including restriction of the circle of persons who have access to the recordings to the minimum and the special regime of their storage.

In certain cases the data collected about you, including the video recordings made might be disclosed to third parties. Such disclosure is possible in the following hypotheses: (1) to legal counsels and other partners of the Hotel Keeper in relation to the defense of company’s legal claims; (2) to the competent state authorities in case of investigation, inspection or other overriding public interest; and (3) upon merger or amalgamation where your data might be shared with the new owner(s) and you will be given notice of that. In any case your data will not be shared with third parties established outside the territory of the European Economic Area.

CITY HOTEL MANAGEMENT EAD , registered with the Registry Agency under company ID number [EIK] BG205411096,   is responsible for the video surveillance of the categories of personal data stated below.
