The opening of the ikebana exhibition “The Breath of Spring” took place on March 24 in the Madara Hall of the Marinela Sofia Hotel. Maria Kemenchedzhieva from the Kagetsu Association greeted the visitors and said the compositions were inspired by old Japanese engravings.
Japanese Sogetsu School, whose founder is called Picasso in ikebana. Here the detail is of great importance – each of the three main elements is exactly three quarters shorter than the next to achieve the perfect shape of an equilateral triangle.
The exhibition “The Breath of Spring” at the Marinela Hotel in Sofia can be visited from March 24 to 27 from 9 am to 6 pm.
