Hotel Marinela Sofia once again with a prestigious award from the World Luxury Hotel

At an event organized on the twelfth anniversary of one of the most prestigious awards in the world of international luxury tourism – the organization World Luxury Hotel once again recognized the iconic hotel Marinela Sofia.
This year’s award that the five-star hotel won is Luxury Diplomatic Hotel 2018. In 2016 and 2017, the hotel was awarded as “Luxury Business Hotel” , “The most luxurious brand in Eastern Europe”, “The most luxurious hotel” and conference center” and “The most luxurious business hotel.”
The ceremony took place on the exotic island of Bali, which is one of the most popular destinations in recent years by tourists around the world.
Representatives of more than a hundred countries took part in the annual competition in luxury tourism. Still, despite the considerable competition, Hotel Marinela received another recognition from the prestigious forum.
The award for Hotel Marinel comes immediately after the accommodation of the European political and diplomatic elite during Bulgaria’s rotating presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2018.
Among the hotel guests were the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, the President of the European Commission, Jean-Claude Juncker, the President of the European Parliament, Antonio Tajani, the High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini, and many others.
